We worked with Praytell and Transparent director Silas Howard on behalf of the MAC Aids Fund to transform vignettes about seven transgender Americans into a cohesive feature documentary called More Than T.  The film, which premiers on Showtime in June,  works to show how much more each of these people is than their gender – more than the “T” in “LGBT.”

This successful distribution strategy shows that – just as in the Wounded series LAP Founder David Modigliani co-directed – high quality, minimally branded content can achieve mainstream distribution with the right partners.

“Working with David is a joy as he helped us transform a series of vignettes into a powerful, cohesive narrative. That wasn’t a surprise, I knew he was experienced and best-in-class as a practitioner. What was a surprise was the way he did it, working as a true creative partner, guiding with grace and precision, empowering our team while also giving decisive and impactful counsel. Our project debuted on Showtime and I’m certain that it wouldn’t have happened without David’s steady, thoughtful work.” – Andrew Pray, founder, Praytell
